Welcome to Nexa. By downloading or using the app ("the App"), you accept these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
Nexa provides workout and nutrition tracking tools and AI-generated recommendations. You agree to use the App lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
2. Health disclaimer
Nexa is a wellness and fitness tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for a healthcare professional. Consult a doctor before starting a new training program or diet, especially if you have health conditions. You use the App's recommendations at your own risk.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the data and content you add. You grant us a limited license to host and process it to provide the service. You agree not to post illegal content or content infringing the rights of others.
5. AI features
AI-generated content (programs, meal plans, nutrition estimates, meal-photo analysis, coach answers) is provided for guidance only, may contain inaccuracies, and is not professional medical or nutritional advice. To produce this content, some of your inputs (goals, training or nutrition data, meal photos) are sent to a third-party AI provider (Google) for processing only. Always verify important information.
6. Health integrations
If you allow it, Nexa can read and write health data through Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) — for example workouts, heart rate, sleep, weight, nutrition and hydration. This access relies on your explicit consent and can be revoked at any time from your platform settings. Your health data is never used for advertising or sold.
7. Social features
When using social features (friends, messages, leaderboards, challenges), you agree to respect other users. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Subscriptions & payments
Some features may be offered through a paid subscription, handled by the App Store or Google Play Store under their terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your platform settings.
9. Intellectual property
The App, its design, logo and original content are the property of Nexa and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute the App without permission.
10. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Nexa is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the App, including any exercise-related injuries or data loss.
11. Termination
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access in case of breach of these terms.
12. Changes
We may modify these terms. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will fall under the competent courts of the judicial district of your residence in Quebec, subject to the rights granted to you as a consumer by law.
